Terms of service

SpeakAura is a web app for running Toastmasters club meetings: voting, collecting feedback for speakers, the humor of the night and a projector countdown. It is provided by Mateusz Solnica, contact: blooser@protonmail.com.

Using SpeakAura is free. SpeakAura is an independent project and is not affiliated with Toastmasters International.

• You create an account with an email and password or with Google. Give accurate details and keep your password safe.
• You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Meeting guests don't need an account: they vote and write feedback through a QR code.

• Use SpeakAura lawfully and respectfully. Don't post offensive content or content that infringes other people's rights.
• When you enter participants' details (e.g. speakers' emails), make sure you may do so and let them know they'll receive messages from SpeakAura.
• Before you record a speech, ask the speaker for consent. Only record people who agreed to it, and delete the recording if the speaker asks you to.
• Don't try to disrupt the service, get around its security or load it with automated traffic.

Feedback, presentations and meeting data belong to you and to their authors. You allow us to store, display and send them as needed to run the service, for example to deliver feedback to a speaker.

AI feedback reports and speech statistics from recordings (pace, filler words, pauses) are generated automatically. They may contain mistakes and are not an official Toastmasters evaluation. Treat them as inspiration to grow.

We do our best to keep SpeakAura running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may develop and change the app's features. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage caused by interruptions of the service.

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to blooser@protonmail.com. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

We'll publish new versions of these terms on this page with their date and email organizers about significant changes. These terms are governed by Polish law.
